December has begun!

So Adrina is 8 months old 2 weeks old today. Wow the time has just flown by! A few days before her 8 month birthday, she started taking steps at her Auntie's house. She can take up to 3 steps at a time! Can you believe that? I know I can't.
She has 5 teeth now. 3 on top and 2 on bottom. She likes to use them to bite everyone and everything.. Ouch!!
The newest things.. She loves to clap! When something happens that she is happy about, she claps!! Yay!! I came out of the bathroom this morning and she started clapping because she was looking for me and then found me!
Mikey taught Adrina to make a sound like an elephant. You press your lips together inside your mouth (suck your lips in) and then blow while making your lips stay together. She loves to make elephant sounds. Then Mike showed her how he makes the same sound only he uses his arm like a trunk. Now when Adrina makes the elephant sound, She lifts her arm straight up!!

Now the sad story: The other night Mikey and Sere were rough housing on the couch. Mikey got in trouble because he picks on Sere and then she in turn picks on the baby. Not a minute after Mikey is put in the corner do we hear a loud *Thud*, turn around and Sere has flipped Adrina's walker over with Adrina in it and her head smacked the tile floor. Mike felt the vibration from baby's head across the room. We got her picked up and she had 2 egg size bumps on the back of her head. Needless to say, the older two went straight to bed. We kept Adrina up for like 4 hours and iced her bumps. My mom told me to put some essential oils that she had left at my house on baby's head and it helped immediately. She had no bumps the next morning. So far she is doing great. (Phew!)

Mikey turned 9 yesterday. We took brownies and cupcakes to his school. I can't believe how grown up he is. Seems like just a short while ago, he was Adrina's age and walking around. He got a dinosaur facts electronic board from us and a book light. Aunty Nichole, Uncle Rob and Zechariah got him a pillow case that he can draw on and a race car night light that he gets to make. Nana and Grandpa Johnny sent him a floor puzzle of ocean life!
We will be having a birthday party for him on Sunday at Christine and Carl's house. I'll make sure to update this page with details!

I am starting to work part time with another company. I take my class tonight and tomorrow for Life insurance then will take the test sometime in the next week or so to get my license. I am also getting a license to write home loans and refinance type loans. I am very excited and hope this will be all I need it to be and more.
