Enjoying the life I always wanted

Adrina has 4 teeth! They are all in and so super cute! She loves to chew and grind her teeth. She makes the goofiest faces!! She is standing on her own for short amounts of time. I can't believe how she has changed in the past couple months. She is just a little person now.

Mikey is doing so well in school. He told me the other day that he loves writing in cursive! I couldn't believe it! Anyone who knew the hell we went through last year would appreciate this. He hated to write. Getting him to put anything on paper was a challenge, Cursive was impossible. And now he loves it! Goes to show what a little attention from a good teacher can do. His teacher is just wonderful. He has taken the time to get to know Mikey and has taken a great interest in his success. I am so very grateful for this new page in Mikey's life. He is finally in a good place. He is a fantastic little artist. His favorite thing to do is draw. He is so imaginative.

Serenity is quite a creative little thinker. She comes up with the darndest things and just makes us laugh. She is so smart but definately has the "dumb blond" routine down. I came home from work the other night and she was playing with her My first leappad. She said "Mommy, come help me learn"! So I sat down with her and she started to use the pen to press buttons and stopped and handed me the pen. " Mommy, you do it so I can learn"! I told her that she has to do it in order to learn and she was insistant that I do it for her. "No, I can't do it right. You have to do it." Finally she did do it herself and was so proud of her accomplishments! She loves all things girly and it is so fun to do her hair and make up! She has been discovering her own imagination lately and will now play for hours alone in her room! yay! She makes up stories and sets up her doll house furniture all over the room and uses it as the house instead of her doll house!

I am so happy to have more time to spend with the kids and Mike has bonded with them as well. It is upsetting that it took so long for us to be in this place. But, at least we are here now.

:) Bridget

P.S. I did not get the job that I was hoping for. Apparently it was not meant to be. Hopefully I will get some calls on my other applications. Mike finished his resume and has been turning in 10+ apps a day. Please keep your fingers crossed that one of us finds something soon! Thanks!
